AHDB Agronomist Induction 2024 event - dates and location revealed

The AHDB has announced the date of the 2024 Agronomist Induction event, which will be held at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel on 23-24 October 2024.

The event is aimed at agronomists who are early in their careers and gives a formal introduction to AHDB resources and activities.

The event provides an opportunity to enable networking between AHDB staff and agronomists and features a series of interactive workshops and seminars.

Lunch is provided on both days with representatives from BASIS, British Beet Research Organisation (BBRO), Processors and Growers Research Organisation (PGRO), Linking Environment and Farming (LEAF), and the Voluntary Initiative exhibiting during lunch on the first day. There is also a networking dinner in the evening of the first day.

Previous to her role with AIC Hazel was employed in the crop protection industry for 18 years as a BASIS qualified agronomist. She was also responsible for managing a regional agrochemical department with a national distributor.
