ahdb-flag-c-tim-scrivener.jpg 1

AIC Members have the opportunity to share their views on AHDB's proposals to increase its levy for the first time in more than a decade.

AHDB says its plans will allow the organisation to deliver more services, including marketing and exports for the livestock and dairy sectors and more independent research for cereals and oilseeds.

Visit the AHDB website for full details. Levy-paying AIC Members in the Grain & Oilseed sector may wish to send questions and feedback directly to AHDB by emailing [email protected].

Proposed 2024 levy rates

Cereals & Oilseeds (rate last set in 2011)
  • Cereal grower – from 46p/tonne to 58p/t (+12p/t)
  • Cereal buyer – from 3.80p/t to 4.80p/t (+1p/t)
  • Cereal processor (human/industrial) – from 9.5p/t to 12p/t (+2.5p/t)
  • Cereal processor (feed) – from 4.6p/t to 5.8p/t (+1.2p/t)
  • Oilseeds – from 75p/t to 94p/t (+19p/t)

Online sessions

On 9 November, AHDB levy payers can join a series of live virtual sessions to get more information about the proposals and ask questions directly to the sector chair and the panel. The Cereals & Oilseeds session starts at 10:00.

Register your interest in the event and submit a question for the panel via the AHDB website.
