The AHDB is seeking two new members to join its recently established Research & Knowledge Exchange (R&KE) Committee, a subcommittee of the AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds Sector Council.

Set up earlier this year, the Committee oversees the delivery of an R&KE programme which aims to deliver against the research needs of levy-payers, including commissioning R&D projects.

Meeting four times a year, the Committee evaluates all proposed activities to ensure they deliver against sector-plan priorities and offer value for money, before putting budget recommendations forward to the Sector Council.

Four Sector Council members and AHDB staff already sit on the Committee. There are currently two vacancies for independent members (levy payers or other stakeholders) to strengthen the Committee.

For full details on the role of the R&KE Committee, visit the AHDB website.

How to apply

To enquire about the opportunity or to submit an application, email Ana Reynolds ([email protected]) or call 07387 015465. Visit the AHDB website for further details.

Applications should include a brief covering letter and CV.

The application deadline is 30 November 2024. Interviews will take place online during the winter, with successful applicants participating in the first meeting of the R&KE Committee in 2025.
