In 2023, the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) marks 20 years as the UK agri-supply industry’s leading trade association.

The AIC was formed as a confederation to unite the UK Agricultural Supply Trade Association (UKASTA), the Fertiliser Manufacturers Association (FMA), and a group of crop distributors, giving the industry greater strength of voice, coordination, and efficiency.

Each week throughout this year, we will be looking back at some of its greatest achievements since it was founded in 2003 to represent the feed, fertiliser, crop protection and agronomy, seed, and arable marketing sectors.

The regular "AIC at 20" series will explore a major achievement where AIC represented its Member businesses, promoted the benefits of modern commercial agriculture in the UK, and supported collaboration throughout the food chain.

Watch the video below to find out more about AIC and the work it does on behalf of its Members.

Make sure you're following AIC on Twitter and LinkedIn for regular updates.
