Scheme documents publication
Following the consultation process in the autumn, all comments have been considered, and the final pre-publication drafts of the FEMAS, TASCC and UFAS Standards will be sent to the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for assessment before the end of 2023.
Early in 2024, the documents submitted to UKAS will be made available to participants on the AIC website with the final texts published once the UKAS assessment is complete (expected to be February 2024).
Supporting documents for each scheme, including internal audit checklists, template documents and Sector Notes will be updated and published before auditing against the new standards begins.
Updated scheme implementation
It is intended that all FEMAS, TASCC and UFAS audits taking place after 1 June 2024 will be against the new standards.
