Approval, authorisation and marketing of Biocides
The marketing and use of Biocides Regulation was adopted in the EU on 22nd May 2012. It will come into force in the UK on 1st September 2013. The EU Biocides Regulation aims to simplify and streamline existing EU requirements without reducing the level of protection it offers to health and the environment. It repeals and updates the Biocidal Products Directive 98/8/EC.
