FEMAS Maize Aflatoxin Protocol update March 2025

AIC, in conjunction with scheme owners EFISC-GTP, GMP+ International, OVOCOM and QS, has revised the Maize Aflatoxin Protocol as detailed below:

  • Croatia has been lowered from MEDIUM to LOW

The new risk rating is to be implemented from 28 March 2024.

As result of these changes the frequency of analysis of maize originating from:

  • Croatia for Aflatoxin B1 may be reduced, subject to the Participant's own risk assessment.
