A major review of the AHDB's Recommended List for Cereals and Oilseeds is underway with AIC Members being encouraged complete a questionnaire as part of efforts to improve the variety trialling project.

The review follows a strong endorsement of the Recommended List (RL) by levy payers in spring 2022, where the project scored 4.2 out of 5 for importance during the Shape the Future process,

The AHDB's Cereals & Oilseeds sector council has pledged to conduct a major review of the RL in its five-year sector plan.

Visit the AHDB's RL review webpage for further information, including a link to the online RL questionnaire and other ways to get involved.

The questionnaire is closes on 17 February 2023, with initial results due to be published in Spring 2023.

The results will inform the next phase of the review, which involves planning and costing the actions required to improve the RL over the short, medium, and long term.

RL review focus groups

Primarily aimed at farmers and agronomists, the online focus groups provide the perfect opportunity to discuss the RL and how to adapt it to meet the evolving needs of modern farming businesses.
