Round-up of Defra Farming and Countryside Programme grants available in 2023

A breakdown of the grants available to farmers and land managers in 2023 has been published by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

The funding options are part of Defra's Farming and Countryside Programme, with more than £168 million offered in total.

Under the scheme, famers and land managers can apply for grants to be used for a wide range of purposes, including research projects, equipment and technology, automation and robotics, slurry management, vet visits, and tree planting.
